What to Eat When There’s No Time to Cook
While we’re not all blessed with a team of nutritionists, fitness coaches, and stylists to keep our appearance on point, we can always look to the celebrity elite for some realistic pointers. Most recently, Khloé Kardashian ran a story on her app featuring her nutritionist, Dr. Philip Goglia, revealing her go-to kitchen staples. The youngest of the Kardashian sisters has made a name for herself in the fitness world, transforming her lifestyle in just a few short years. Here’s what she stocks up on to stay healthy and fit, as informed by Dr. Goglia:
- Fresh, seasonal veggies like asparagus, spinach, and bell peppers
- Fresh fruit
- Eggs
- Chicken
- Fish
- Olive oil
- Canned tuna
While the last item may seem a bit surprising, Dr. Goglia regards canned tuna as the “ideal emergency food for those ‘Oops, I don’t have any meat to cook for dinner or lunch’ moments,” reports InStyle. “You can use a can of tuna in salad or over veggies. It’s an ideal source of high quality, low-fat protein. Make sure to buy the cans that are in water not oil, and if you’re concerned about the sodium content, just rinse it in water before eating.”
